Ukraine, Kiev, 16 October / Trend corr. Z.Novosvitskiy /Ukrainian President Viktor Yuchshenko congratulated Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, him on successful presidential election over telephone conversation on 16 October, the Ukrainian Presidential administration reported.
The Presidents voiced the importance of development of the strategic partnership between the countries. They also mulled over bilateral cooperation, particularly, arrangements for the next Energy summit, which is to be held in Baku in mid-November.
Viktor Yuchshenko will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on 13-14 November. Baku will host the 4th Energy summit on 14 November, where the Ukrainian President is expected to attend.
