Georgian Parliament Welcomes Two Opposition MPs

Georgia, Tbilisi, 14 November / Trend , corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Georgian Parliament welcomed to opposition MPs. At today's extraordinary session of Parliament two opposition MPs succeed in the off-year election.

Tamaz Kvachantiradze from the Christian Democratic Movement in Vakiy region, and Guram Chahvadze of the National Democratic Party in Didube region, won the off-year election on 3 November.

The off-year election became necessary after David Gamkrelidze and David Saganelidze, representatives from the New Rights party, refused abandoned their seats in Parliament.

The deputy mandate of Koba Subeliani, who was appointed as the Refugees and Resettlement Minister will also be canceled at the extraordinary meeting.

Today, the Georgia Parliament elected Archila Gegenava the chairman of the Committee for Agrarian Affairs.
