Romanian Foreign Minister Cristian Diaconescu will discuss Azerbaijan-Romania cooperation in Baku, Azerbaijani Embassy in Romania Adviser Tural Rzayev told Trend .
"Diaconescu's visit is scheduled for April 8-9. He will meet with Azerbaijani officials and debate bilateral cooperation," Rzayev told Trend in a telephone conversation from Bucharest.
Diaconescu will discuss several political, economic and energy issues, he said.
Azerbaijan-Romania trade turnover hit $193 million in 2008. Azerbaijani exports to Romania totaled $161 million and imports - $31.8 million.
