AYOR – example for other nations’ youth organizations: deputy minister
Russia, Moscow, April 20 / Trend , I.Bragina/
The Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) merits attention and will be useful for other nations' youth organizations in Russia, Russian Deputy Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy Oleg Rozhnov believes.
"I consider establishment of the AYOR as an important step and Russia's other nations should have such organizations, as well," Rozhnov told Trend .
The AYOR is the first national youth organization of the all-Russia scale.
Rozhnov said this organization is necessary, first of all, for the youth to communicate. "The Azerbaijani youth in Russia has two motherlands and it is too necessary to keep contact with each other to preserve cultural traditions of their historical motherland and country where they permanently live," he said.
It is too valuable to interact on this issue as part of the established organization and cooperate with other organizations and other regions, Rozhnov said. "Our country's wealth is people of different nationalities and nations with their traditions and culture and it is necessary to preserve and increase this wealth," Rozhnov said.
The Russian deputy minister said perhaps, it will be one of basic elements of civil society. "We have a full block of events to advance national unity and agitate national difference of our country and of course, the AYOR must actively participate in these initiatives," Rozhnov said.
