The parliamentary opposition left the hall while voting in the second reading on a bill on toughening the law on assemblies and manifestations.

Consideration of the package of bills was resumed at extraordinary sitting on July 16.

Firstly, Zhondi Bagaturiya and Petre Mamradze stated on their leaving the sitting before voting.

Later, a leader of the Parliamentary minority Giorgi Targamadze made a speech, saying a package of bills does not take into consideration any remark by the opposition. His team also left the hall.
