It is wrong to ascribe the plan of implementation of a military coup in Turkey by the armed forces of the country, said Turkish writer-analyst Ahmed Tashgetiren whose arrest was planned after the military coup in Turkey under the name "Balez. Tashgetiren said that there is a connection between the "Balez" plan and formerly exposed terrorist organization "Ergenekon", and this plan was been prepared long ago. He believes that the statement made in this regard by the Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Army is insufficient, and he is obliged to make more concrete statements on this issue.
Tashgetiren also emphasized that the frequent reports about the coup plans in the country over recent years could jeopardize the security (of Turkey), located in a very important region and conducting a successful foreign policy. He believes that currently an active process of democratization is taking place in Turkey. "Those who came to power through elections should leave it through elections. The intervention of the army in power is unacceptable," he said.
