The representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia jointly with the Department of social-charitable and spiritual-educational activities of the Council of Muftis of Russia held a charity event at two children's school in Moscow, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
This action started at one of the children's school in the north-eastern district of the capital of Russia, which hosts about 50 kids. The staff of the representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia and the Department of Council of Muftis talked to the children, most of whom have parents and relatives, but, nevertheless, lack of family warmth. The kids were given jackets and other gifts provided by the representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia. Children were told about the activities of the Foundation, Azerbaijan and the Azeri people, who are reputed with their kindness and compassion for the weak and disadvantaged people.
Employees of the Department of the Council of Muftis also gave the children all kinds of gifts: constructor, watches, bath accessories, and toys. Many children first heard about the Prophet Muhammad, Islamic traditions, spiritual and moral values and the need to perform good deeds. Festival for children was also adorned with various fun contests and theatrical performances.
Such charity action was continued at another children's home in Moscow.
