Deputy chairman of Azerbaijani ruling party receives U.S embassy representative

Deputy chairman of Azerbaijani ruling party received Adviser for Political Affairs of the U.S. embassy in Azerbaijan.
"At the meeting, Deputy President Ali Akhmadov and counselor Johanna Jansen exchanged views on cooperation relations existing between Azerbaijan and the U.S., the prospects for development," the ruling New Azerbaijan Party told Trend.
The parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan in November were also discussed at the meeting.
New Azerbaijan Party was founded in 1992 by national leader Heydar Aliyev, when he was chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan. Now, President Ilham Aliyev heads the ruling party for 17 years.
