Television program "İguales y Diferentes" ("Same and Different"), dedicated to Azerbaijan was broadcasted May 20 on the Cuban TV channel "Canal Educativo-2" ("Educational channel-2"), Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN told Trend.
The TV program voiced an interview with the Azerbaijani ambassador to Cuba Agshin Mehdiyev. The history, nature, culture, achievements in economic, social and political spheres of Azerbaijan was explained in detail.
The popular Cuban radio station Radio Taino broadcasted "Jazz Hour", devoted to Coryphaeus of the Azerbaijani jazz Vagif Mustafazade and his daughter Aziza Mustafazade in the same month.
Days of Culture of Azerbaijan held in the country gave an impetus to such an interest of Cuba in Azerbaijan.
