Border guards of Kazakhstan refuted the fact of preventing the passage of the Kyrgyz citizens of Uzbek nationality, Kazakhstan's Border Service said.
"Some media outlets with reference to the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported that on the alleged fact of preventing passage of the Kyrgyz citizens of Uzbek nationality by the Kazakh border guards," the Border Service said.
Border Service officially explains that these publications do not correspond to reality, said in the report.
"Earlier the Border Guard Service of Kazakhstan said that the systematic strengthening of the state border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan is underway, which is related with the instability of the situation in Kyrgyzstan", said in the press release.
