A bloc of opposition center-right parties wil be created in Azerbaijan in August, chairman of opposition Great Establishment Party Fazil Gazanfaroglu told Trend.
"The Party of Great Establishment, the Unified Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan and the Justice Party are negotiating to establish a single electoral bloc. There are initial agreements. But some issues have not been agreed yet. It is too early to talk about the results. An agreement will be reached in the nearest 20 days or earlier", Gazanfaroglu said.
The holding of parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan is scheduled for Nov. 7, 2010. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral districts.
He said that there are various proposals. The final decision on these proposals is being considered.
