President of Turkey Abdullah Gul has today visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
A ceremonial guard of honor was lined up for the Turkish President here.
He laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument here.
A military orchestra played the national anthems of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
