Tajik Foreign Minister Khamrokhon Zarifi will pay an official visit to Astana Aug. 23-25, Kazakh Foreign Ministry Spokesman Askar Abdrakhmanov said today.
"During the visit, the Kazakh and Tajik Foreign Ministries' Councils are expected to hold the first meeting, which will discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres," Abdrakhmanov said.
The sides are also expected to sign the agreement on mutual provision of areas for construction of the diplomatic missions' buildings, he added.
