The Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) will hold its congress in late September, PFPA Deputy Chairman for Political Affairs Fuad Gahramanli told Trend.
"The Party Board Members held a meeting Aug.24, The meeting decided to hold the congress in late September. The exact date will be mentioned in the lease contract to be signed with the Tabriz Cinema," Gahramanli added.
Earlier, the Nizami District Executive Power offered PFPA the Tabriz Cinema for holding of congress.
The PFPA was established in 1989. Former President Abulfaz Elchibey founded and ran the party until 2000. The party split August 2000 into the PFPA and the CPFP (Classic Popular Front party).
