The political parties and blocs participating in the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan have two days to present the party logos to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the commission reported.
According to the Article 54 of the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan, in addition to information about the registered candidates for the elections, there should be specified logos of the parties, from which the candidates are nominated, during the preparation of ballots for the parliamentary elections.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled for Nov. 7. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.
