Lebanon is interested in intensifying the fruitful dialogue with Turkmenistan, the Lebanon ambassador to Turkmenistan (with residence in Yerevan) Jebrail Butros Jeara told local media.
"Lebanon is interested in intensifying the fruitful dialogue with Turkmenistan, which has an enormous resource potential, a favorable geographical location and favorable investment climate," he said.
Jeara underlined the importance of open door policy pursued in the country, a strategy of broad international cooperation, as well as new structural global scale initiatives, voiced by Ashgabat at the UN General Assembly.
The ambassador held a series of meetings in the Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan, during which discussed issues of further intensification of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Jeara as Lebanon's first ambassador to Turkmenistan has been accredited in the spring of last year.
