PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs on Azerbaijan, Joseph Debono Grech from Malta and Pedro Agramunt from Spain, plan to pay a next visit within the monitoring procedure of the assembly after the winter session of the organization is over, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, Samad Seyidov, said.
PACE winter session begins in Strasbourg on Jan. 23. The agenda of the session also included the results of parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, held on Nov. 7, 2010. The co-rapporteurs are expected to deliver a report on the elections.
When joining the Council of Europe in 2001, Azerbaijan has undertaken a number of obligations, while the Monitoring Committee observes their fulfillment.
