ADA completes course on Caspian Basin Studies (PHOTO)

The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) completed the regular course on Caspian Basin Studies for 14 diplomats from South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Gambia and Madagascar.

The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) completed the regular course on Caspian Basin Studies for 14 diplomats from South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Gambia and Madagascar.

"Listeners were informed about Azerbaijan's political and economic priorities, development of the whole region," Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, Rector of the Academy, Hafiz Pashayev said.

The courses were held on September 1-9. Employees of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, SOCAR and other state bodies delivered lectures on the history and culture of the countries of the Caspian region, its status and geopolitical situation, as well as energy policy, economic and investment opportunities.

About 43 diplomats from South America, Asia and Africa have been trained in the ADA within "Caspian Basin Studies" program since early 2011.
