Lithuania will sign an agreement on cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of internal affairs and emergencies, Lithuanian Interior Minister Arturas Melianas told reporters in Baku on Thursday. The cooperation will cover various forms - training and cooperation in emergency situations.
In addition, the Lithuanian minister intends to hold a series of meetings with the Azerbaijani government and discuss various issues of political and economic cooperation. Melianas said the two countries have been successfully cooperating in various fields.
The Interior Minister of Lithuania arrived in Baku to attend a meeting of the Council of CIS Interior Ministers. Today he visited the Alley of Honour and Alley of Martyrs.
