Ten agreements will be signed between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabian Ambassador Fahd bin Ali Al-Dosari told Trend during an event dedicated to 80th anniversary of kingdom's indepence.

"The ties between our countries are developing at a high level. Eleven agreements have already been signed between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan, and 10 more will be signed," the ambassador said.

Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev, who spoke at the event, noted that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia has increased by 44 % in the first half of the year.

In minister's words, around 450 Saudi companies are currently operating in Azerbaijan. The minister expressed his hopes over further development of relations between the countries.

In his speech, Mustafayev appreciated the permanent support of Azerbaijan's fair position in Azerbaijani-Armenian Nagorno Karabakh conflict by Saudi Arabia.
