Future Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili is officially invited to visit the headquarters in Brussels.
The invitation was sent on Thursday on behalf of the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, candidate to the post of the chairman of the Georgian parliament David Usupashvili, who presented at the meeting between Ivanishvili and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle, said.
"Visit of Ivanishvili as a Prime Minister to Brussels, where he will hold meetings at the highest level, will be scheduled in the near future," Usupashvili said.
He added that, the meeting has a friendly nature.
"They met each other before, but this time Füle met with the future prime minister of Georgia. The sides discussed Georgia's integration into Europe" Usupashvili said.
