An active participation of young people in the presidential election testifies to democracy in Azerbaijan, head of the observation mission of the international organization of centrist Democrats of Asia-Pacific Basin Muhammad Jusuf Kalla said during a press conference following the presidential election in Azerbaijan on Thursday.
According to him, the elections were held in the country in terms of transparency.
"No pressure was exerted on voters," he stressed. "Voters could freely vote, while observers, including local, could work in calm atmosphere".
"We saw no problems and violations, which the voters could've faced," head of the mission said.
The presidential election was held in Azerbaijan on Oct. 9.
