Azerbaijan's first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met Egypt's ambassador to Azerbaijan Suzanne Mohamed Gamil, March 10.
Expressing delight in the high-level relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt, Mehriban Aliyeva said peoples of the two countries are tied by friendly relations.
The mutual support of both countries was noted, and confidence was expressed that the existing cooperation will further strengthen.
Mehriban Aliyeva brought to attention that, as the president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, she was ready to provide support to the development of relations in the spheres of education, culture, and in other humanitarian fields in Egypt.
In turn, Suzanne Mohamed Gamil expressed satisfaction for working in Azerbaijan as an ambassador for five months. The head of the diplomatic mission thanked for the work done by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Egypt.
