The leaving of Lala-Shovkat Hajiyev, a leader of National Unity movement, from New Policy as collapse of the organization, Eldar Namazov, a member of the Coordinating Bureau of the Bloc.
According to Namazov, the reasons for Hajiyeva�s decision was caused by disagreements with the New Policy in the viewpoint in some issues. The Coordinating Council of the bloc will discuss on Tuesday and admission of new members. The New Policy has defined the candidates in 70 constituencies. Upon admission of new members the bloc will finalize the definition of candidates in other constituencies,” Namazov underlined.
He did not rule out the possibility of Hajiyeva’s joining to Azadliq bloc. New Policy cooperates with all blocs fighting for democratic elections. If Hajiyeva decides to join Azadliq, this is her own choice. New Policy does not regard Azadliq as its rival. The difference between them is the form of approach to some issues, methods and tactics of fighting. The key essence is not the personality of members of the organization, but struggle for democratic elections and achievement of a victory,” Namazov underlined.
