The issue of opening the Azerbaijan’s Embassies in 15 countries still remains open, the deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Vagif Sadikhov told journalists, Trend reports.
According o him, there is a decision of the Parliament (Milli Mejlis) on their opening and the decree of the President of Azerbaijan on appointing the Ambassadors. The opening of Embassies is expected in Croatia, Netherlands, Malaysia, Syria, Jordan, Quatar, Argentina and other countries. The Azerbaijan’s Embassies in Spain, Latvia, Moldova and other countries started functioning lately, the diplomat noted.
Sadihov also reported rotation of diplomats of the Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions abroad is going on. It is carried out according to the law “On diplomatic activities”, which specifies, the rotation of diplomats is to be held each three year”, the deputy Foreign Minister underlined.
