В"Considering the issue of changing the holidays in regard to the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the world on 31 December and the New Year will be a surprise for the public”, the Milli Mejlis vice-speaker Bahar Muradova said, Trend reports.
At the sitting of the Parliament on 23 December deputy Elmira Ahundova came out with the proposal to put off the holiday for other days, as they coincide with Saturday and Sunday. The proposal has been taken into account and sent to the Cabinet of Ministers for consideration.
Its discussion is expected at the sitting of the Parliament on 30 December, Muradova said.
