PACE Bureau to discuss issues related to parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) sitting will take place on 9 January 2006 in Paris, at which the issues, related to the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, in particular, will be discussed, Trend reports citing the CE secretariat in Strasburg.

Results of discussions will be put forward for consideration at the PACE winter session to be held from 23 to 27 January in Strasburg. Along with this, the Bureau agenda will include such issues as monitoring the dialogue with Slovakia and Latvia and the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Palestine and Belarus.

Deputy CE secretary general Mod de Bur-Bucciqqio will take part in the sitting.
