Azerbaijan and Cuba will sign an agreement on cooperation between foreign political establishments of the countries. The draft agreement was handed over to Azerbaijani deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov by his Cuban counterpart Eumelio Cabaliero at the meeting held in Astana within the inauguration ceremony of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Ilham Zamanov, the Azerbaijani charge daffair in Kazakhstan, told Trend exclusively.
According to Zamanov, during the meeting the Cuban deputy Minister showed interest in the region, particularly, Azerbaijan and expressed intention of his country to expand the cooperation with Azerbaijan, specially, in the economic sphere. Cabaliero handed over the draft agreement on consultations between foreign political establishments of Azerbaijan and Cuba and voiced a hope in urgent unification and signing of the document.
