Recent events in Nardaran village should be introduced as a resistance between the residents and authorities  Prosecutor General

The recent events in Nardaran village [outskirts Baku] on 26 January should be introduced as a resistance between the residents and authorities, Zakir Garalov, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, told journalists.

Two officers were killed while impementig their serice duties. The Prsiecutors Office cndicts invetsgation to reveal all people involvd in the crime. At present two people are under arrest and 4 in search. Unfortunately, some forces are keen on using the event own interests and put forward different versions not coinciding to the reality. I warn the forces who try to use these events for political manipulation and call on them to put an end to such actions, Garalov emphasized.

He also noted that an investigation on Haji Mammadovs case was nearing to end. The investigation will come to an end by end of this February, the Prosecutor General underlined.

Concerned the air crash happened last December Garalov noted that information from the flight recorder was recorded to computer for deciphering. At present we are waiting for the conclusion of medical examination. The victims of the incident have been identified, the medial examination finalized and witnesses are now giving testimonies, the Prosecutor General stressed.
