The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) plans to expand cooperation with a number of states soon, the head of the State Customs Committee Kamaleddin Heydarov said today, Trend reports.
According to him, for the moment, agreements for signing in customs sphere with various states, in particular, a number of inter-governmental agreements have been prepared.
Apart from this, according to him, signing of the agreement in the customs field with the USA has been planned recently, but due to some technical reasons it failed.
В"I would like to note especially implementation of the joint project with the UNO Development program (UNDP), aimed at establishing the automated system at SCC, Heydarov said.
Along with this, he thinks, taking into consideration the SCC young age the Azerbaijan Customs needs to learn the experience of some European countries.
