The Azerbaijan Milli Mejlis chairman Ogtay Asadov will depart on 8 February in Turkey on the official visit, the Milli Mejlis told Trend.
In the framework of the visit to last till 11 February Asadov is expected to hold talks with the Turkeys top leadership, including president Ahmet Nedjet Sezer, the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Bulent Arinj, the Prime Minister Redjep Tayyp Erdogan and other. The issues of further expansion of the Azerbaijani-Turkish relations, first, the inter-parliamentary cooperation will be under discussion.
About 10 Milli Mejlis deputies will escort Asadov during his visit.
