Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev will leave for Paris in Thursday, Novruz Mammadov, the head of the Foreign Relationships Department of the Presidents Apparat, told Trend.
According to Mammadov, the Presidents business schedule does not include a visit, while the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia are to have talks under the peaceable resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on Friday (10 February). Mammadov supposed the format of talks would be defined in the right place.
Mammadov said that Aliyev will hold a separate meeting with the French President Jaques Chirac. He is scheduled to have consultations with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs prior to the meeting with the Armenian counterpart and if necessary after.
