Polish Language & Culture Center to be opened at Baku Slavic University
The Polish Language and Culture Center will be opened at the Baku Slavic University. The technical stage of the project is under completion, the Polish embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.
The Center will be opened soon. The embassy rendered technical assistance to the project, handed over necessary literature and materials about Poland, as well as provided the Center with equipment.
The goal of the center is to put more materials about history, culture and modern life of Poland at disposal of students. At present the Faculty of Polish Language and Culture with 80 Azerbaijani students studying Polish functions at the Baku Slavic University. They annually take courses of improvement of skills at Warsaw universities. The embassy noted that the Warsaw University opened Azerbaijani language and literature courses.
