DYNAMICS OF CHANGES IN SOME ECONOMIC SEGMENTS
Oil futures did not change essentially on 27 March. The situation in the trading sessions were characterized with technical corrections. Dealers equaled the correlation of short and long positions and fixed profits formed over the previous week.
Results of trading sessions at the exchanges for the contacts of the nearest month were as follows on 27 March:
- Official price of futures on Light, Sweet Crude Oil (May) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) dropped 10 cents and stood at $64.16 per barrel with prices of deals ranging from $63.45 to $64.55 per barrel over the sessions;
- Official price of InterContinental Exchange Futures (IРЎE Futures) on IPE e-Brent Crude Futures Electronic (May) rose 10 cents and was set on $63.61 per barrel with prices of deals ranging from $62.80-$63.80 per barrel.
As a result of the last week official rate of manat in regard to US dollar, set by the National Bank of Azerbaijan grew 0,0004 point or 0.04%. Average rate was established as 0.91013 manats per 1 US dollar, Trend reports.
Last week maximum rate of US dollar in respect to manat was established on 22 March (0.9104 manats per 1 US dollar), minimum 23 and 24 March (0.9100 manats per US dollar
As of results of the last week exchange rates of Azerbaijani manat in regard to US dollar, established on the base of results of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BICEX) increased by 0,0004 point or 0.04%. Average rate was fixed as 0.90973 manats per US dollar.
Last week maximum rate of US dollar in respect to manat was established on 22 March (0.9100 manats per 1 US dollar), minimum 23 and 24 March (0.9096 manats per US dollar).
Deals concluded last week at BEST with transition to currency (T+0) comprised $1,195 with average sustained exchange rate of 0,9100 AZN/USD on 22 March, $4,906m with average sustained rate of 0,9096 AZN/USD on 23 March, $6,795m with average sustained rate of 0,9096 AZN/USD on 24 March.
Last week no deals were concluded through Russian or European currency.

Prices of vouchers remained at the same level and comprised 12 manats.
