The right for leading entrance examinations to Azeri universities is reserved to State Commission for Students Admission (SCSA), Trend reports quoting Maleyka Abbaszadeh, SCSA chairman, who was speaking on the problem of issuing certificates to alumnis of Independent Azerbaijan University.
She said starting 2004 such situation is the result of Azeri presidents Decree, and no other education institution may admit students, such activity is illegal and students admitted in this way may not receive legal certificates.
SCSA chairman addressed entrants and their parents and asked them not to believe promotion campaigns of some branches of foreign universities and Azeri-registered education institutions.
Abbaszadeh said also in May SCSA would conduct a monitoring of identification of knowledge of foreign students studying in the countrys universities. The first stage will include knowledge of Azeri language, she stressed.
