President is back to Baku

The Azerbaijani president, Ilham Aliyev returned to Baku on April 29 finishing his 3-day visit to the United States.

President held talks with his American counterpart, George Bush, vice-president, Dick Chaney and defense minister, Donald Rumsfield in the last day of his visit to Washington. In general, in the course of his visit president met energy minister, Samuel Bodman, trade minister, Carlos Gutieros, first vice spokesman, Robert Zollik, vice depute of the public affairs department, Karen Hughes, CIA director, John Negroponte, chairman of the US Congress house of representatives, Denis Huster, members of Azerbaijani and Jewish diaspora and NGOs.

Aliyev also took part at the 6th business and investment conference American-Azerbaijani strategic relations: political and economic priorities, organized by the American- Azerbaijani trade chamber.
