During the official visit to Azerbaijan, President Roh Moo-hyun is expected to bolster energy and natural resources diplomacy, Trend reports citing the announcement spread by Korean Presidents office.
The visit is also expected to pave the way to enhance cooperative relations with Central Asia. The trip to Azerbaijan will provide good opportunities to further reinforce natural resources and energy diplomacy as well as broaden the diplomatic horizon of Korea, the announcement says.
Roh will be the first Korean President to ever visit Azerbaijan The Korean President will visit Azerbaijan from Mongolia and then leave for the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The visit to three counties will last from May 7 to 15, 2006.
The Azerbaijani Presidents Apparat announced that the Korean Presidents visit to Baku will last from 10 to 12 May.
