Valdas Adamkus, President of Lithuania, is receiving Azeri Prime Minister Artur Rasi-zadeh Friday, May 5, Trend reports referring to Lithuanian Presidents press service.
The meeting is held in Conversation hall of Lithuanian Presidents Administration at 900AM local time and lasts 45 minutes.
At the forthcoming conference В"Vilnius 2006В" it is planned to discuss changes following expansion of the EU and NATO and prospects for strengthening democracy in the region.
Prior to this meeting, heads of states will make discussions at round tables with participation of NGOs representatives; besides, intelligentsia and youth of the region are sending their representatives to this conference in order to talk of the situation in the region and possible activities in this sphere.
