Today Azeri Ministry of Transport laid a new underpass constructed to unload Baku city infrastructure system. This underpass, Trend reports, is constructed by KOLIN InЕџaat of Turkey.
Design length of the underpass is 400 meters, spur tracks 300 meters each. The tunnel is laid along Tbilisi Avenue. Its cost will be defined upon completion of feasibility study by Turkish contractor. Construction period is 6 months.
In the closest time the Ministry is laying three more underpasses.
9 underpasses are constructed in Baku during two years as per the Presidents Decree В"Modernization of transport system in Baku city for years 2006-2007В".
