Iranian embassy refutes adoption of law on religious minorities at Islamic Council

The diplomatic mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran refuted media reports on the adoption of law by the Assembly of Islamic Council, which commits the representatives of the national minorities to wear on marks differing them from Muslims. The reports disseminated through the US media are lie and slander, announcement spread by the US embassy in Baku says.

Over the past period one of the US-based newspapers ahs spread false reports. Officials of some countries, including the United States, stated their opinions on the lie invented by their Zionist friends, not trying to clarify the truth and discredited themselves. By disseminating the fictional information on the adoption such law at the Iranian Council, as well parallel made with the fascists they actually targeted damaging Irans image. However, spread of such reports is an obvious evidence to attribute all those who invented such lie as fascists, the statement says.

The document also notes that some countries and media outlets under the Zionists influence, have numerously displayed fascism rather the German nazies beyond of all ethic norms. The embassys position is that the publication of this lie by some Azerbaijani media outlets was a result of their unawareness of the state of affairs.
