India presents initial fees to the fund of UN peaceable commission

India has taken a resolution to remit $2m to the fund established by the UN peace commission, Trend reports citing the Indian embassy in Azerbaijan.

Established in December 2005 with respect to assist in the post-conflict reconstruction and development processes in world countries the commission is an intergovernmental consultative body.

India took constructive part in the discussions in connection with the commissioning of the commission. In May 2006 the process of the establishment of the organization comate also came to an end. The first session will be held in New York with the participation of the UN Secretary General.
