In the next elections for the post of the chairman of Assembly, Ill support the candidature of Sulhaddin Akbar,Trend reports quoting Vurgun Eyyub, the deputy chairman of Musavat Party and also a candidate to the chairmanship of the Assembly.

Two persons Vurgun Eyyub and Sulhaddin Akbar have put forward their candidatures for the chairmanship of the Assembly. As a result of the voting, S.Akbar collected 58 votes, but V.Eyyub 40. Due to the issue that the collected votes werent enough, no-one could take the position of the chairman. It was decided to hold the elections at the next meeting.

Eyyub noted that in the next elections for the chairmanship, he will liquidate his candidature in favour of Sulhaddin Akbar if he will be a candidate again. In my opinion, the political ethic requires to do so. Akbar collected more votes than me, and I offered him to nominate again, told Eyyub.

For the election of the Assembly chairman, the head of Divan may hold special meeting. According to Eyyub, it is sensible to hold the meeting of the Assembly within a month.

Akbar noted that he is insistent in the selection for the post of the Assembly chairman. I received a majority of votes, and only the lack of 2 votes didnt enable me to gain the victory. Eyyub congratulated me and offered to nominate in next elections, as well as hold that he will support me. Ill again nominate, told Akbar.

In his opinion, other persons may also put forward their candidatures. According to the Regulation of the party, the next meeting of the Assembly should be called within 3 months. Touching on his rivals in the elections, Akbar noted that the facts show that he is in a right way.
