The former prosecutor of Khatai district Mahir Javadov, who has been living as an immigrant in Austria for long years, was arrested in Germany. M.Javadov was arrested on July 19, at 15:00 am with Baku time, Elman Mustafazade, the chairman of Society Friends of Azerbaijan told, Trend reports with reference to Mediaforum site.
The German police detained Javadov on suspicion of human keeling.
Mustafazade noted that the news about Javadovs arrest was delivered to his colleague, the son of Magsud Javadov and the law-protector Helen Froberg. For the purpose to release Javadov, they left for Germany.
Javadov left Azerbaijan in March 1995 after the prevention of the disturbance of a special police team. During these events, tens of people, as well as Javadovs brother Rovshan Javadov perished and hundreds of the police tear were arrested. The law-enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan accuse Javadov of organizing these events and he is under international investigation.
According to the press-service of the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan, Javadov is under international investigation in line with Interpol, but they dont have information about Javadovs arrest in Germany.
