The Deputy of the Azerbaijan Parliament, Elmira Akhundova, will leave to Paris on January 13 to participate at the meeting of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) Committee on Gender Equality. The agenda of the meeting includes the situation of women in South Caucasus, measures of the Council of Europe to fight with violence against women, women poverty, principles of civil equality, situation in the sphere of human rights and democracy in Europe, etc., Trend reports.
During the discussions, Akhundova will express her attitude towards many issues. The visit will conclude on January 16.
