Pier Stankin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Azerbaijan, stated on 16 January that the Caucasus continues to be the most problematic region and Azerbaijan is the most stable country of this region, Trend reports.
He added that Azerbaijan will be more stable when the principles of democracy and human rights are more developed. Mr. Stankin marked Azerbaijan's progress over the past 15 years.
The diplomat said that Germany is a European country with rapidly developing economy. Germany's economic development rates as 3%, which is regarded as a great success. He added that Germany cannot be compared with Azerbaijan where its economic development rate is too high.
