The purchase of more than 300 means of transport of 26 kinds by the State Border Service will seriously advance the organization of border defenses, the Chief of the State Border Service, Elchin Guliyev, briefed the media on January 23rd while holding an inspection over the newly purchased means of transport at military unit N of the Border Troops in Sangachal.
Guliyev stressed that over the past 15 years, the State Border Service has not purchased such a number of transport means. These means of transport are intended for mountainous, boggy and forest terrain. I hope that by applying this technique, we will create an opportunity to ensure the defense of the borders at high level, Guliyev stated. Most of the transport means have been purchased from Russia.
