Military and political consultations between Azerbaijan and Italy are being in Rome. Trend has been informed by the Azerbaijan Embassy to Italy, that the consultations are being held with the participation of the Azerbaijan delegation in the person of the Foreign Ministry of the Country headed by Araz Azimov, the deputy Azerbaijan Foreign Minister.
According to the Azerbaijan diplomatic mission to Rome, the consultations are held in the Italian Foreign Office. The parties discussed issues of mutual interest to each other. Particularly, they exchanged opinions on issues of bilateral, regional and international importance.
Within the present visit, the Azerbaijan delegation is expected to hold meetings in the Italian Parliament, particularly; they will hold negotiations with the Heads of Parliamentary Committees for External Relations and Defence, Cooperation with EU. The Azerbaijani delegation will also meet representative of different international organizations.
