The representative of the German Development Bank KFW, Michael Yansik, said on February 14, 2007 at the opening ceremony of Sabail district of Micro-Finance Bank that KFW intends to realize the next program in the summer of 2008 in amount of $5 mln to support the economic development of Azerbaijan, Trend reports. KFW is one of the founders of the Micro-Finance Bank. According to him, presently KFW is working on the project with regards to the insurance of the deposits.
Remembering the recent mission of KFW to Azerbaijan, he said that it aims at providing economical support for the agrarian districts of Azerbaijan. Michael Yansik said that KFW will co-operate with the bank and intends to present credit lines.
