Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Ali Karimli, the Chairman of the party reported that the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (NFP) is going to cooperate with the party led by the former speaker of the Milli Majlis, Rasul Guliyev.
According to Karimli, they have held negotiations with the Party of Open Society.
"We are ready to negotiate with every party that sincerely wants to develop democracy and protection of human rights in Azerbaijan and we are going to negotiate with the party led by Rasul Guliyev. These were negotiations of a different type and we must make the right choices," said Mr. Karimli.
Kerimli noted that the issue of the Party of Open Society's joining the Azadlig block, is not currently under discussion. There may be only bilateral cooperation between these two political parties.
During Guliyev's leadership, the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) was the member of Azadlig. However, it was excluded from the Azadlyg bloc due to disagreements within the ADP
After the split, Guliyev's supporters founded their own Party of Open Society
