Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Trend corr. P.Aliyev / Fizuli Shikhaliyev, the Chief of South regional Department of Central Office, in their fight against drugs at the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry, has stated that about 20 tons of drugs were discovered in the Yardimli region of Azerbaijan.
Wild poppy plants was discovered and destroyed as a result of investigations held by officers of South regional Department of Central Office in their fight against drugs in the Yardimli region.
Due to the fact that the plants were wild poppy, a criminal case has not been filed
